La preuve, ça fait des années que depuis sa page facebook, Dieu milite pour les droits des LGBT. Il a d’ailleurs lancé il y a quelques jours, avec le soutien de ses administrateurs, une campagne de « crowdfunding » qui a déjà levé plus de 40.000 dollars de promesses de dons, grâce à son 1,72 million de fans sur Facebook et ses 72.000 followers sur Twitter.
Dieu va ainsi louer des espaces publicitaires et afficher la bonne parole, la vraie, pour dissiper le doute sur ses positions et se refaire une réputation. Car il suffoque, de tous ces discours qu’on lui tasse dans la gorge. Et comme il fallait commencer quelque part, le premier panneau sera installé le 8 septembre prochain au centre-ville de Topeka, dans le Kansas, siège de la « Westboro Baptist Church », fondée par Fred Phelps, célèbre pour sa lecture particulièrement haineuse de la Bible et qui ne cesse de crier aux démons de l’homosexualité.
Un gigantesque « arc-en-ciel » avec « l’Esprit sain » déclarant que les LGBT étaient de belles personnes, qui bénéficiaient de tout son soutien pour se marier, fonder une famille, adopter tout plein d’enfants…
S’il n’était pas déjà décédé en mars dernier l’auto-proclamé pasteur homophobe en « mordrait poussière ».

Le coût de la campagne estimé pour les 12 prochains mois est d’environ 50,000 $. Et si les donations continuent de grimper, Dieu promet d’ériger encore plus de panneaux d’affichage à Topeka, et dans d’autres villes à travers le pays, voire même reverser quelques 10% des fonds récoltés à des organismes de bienfaisance LGBT. Plusieurs offres sont disponibles, et vous pouvez passer du simple « disciple » au pack « divin » total.

The mysterious comedian behind the « God » Facebook Page is using his divine power to create a billboard campaign that advocates for LGBT rights in the hometown of Westboro Baptist Church, a group notorious for protesting the funerals of soldiers and carrying signs that say God hates gay people.
Now using the power of social media, God has launched a crowdfunding campaign to buy several billboards and plant them in and around Topeka featuring a cartoon image of the Holy Spirit, a giant rainbow and the message « God Loves Gays. »
God’s followers — among the 1.72 million on Facebook and 72,000 on Twitter — have already pledged nearly $42,000 to help pay for the billboards.
« BEHOLD! » the creator writes on the Indiegogo crowdfunding website. « God is tired of having hate-speech put into his mouth by bigots. Therefore, the LORD shall put up a billboard in Topeka, Kansas that declares to all that « God Loves Gays’! »
The group behind the campaign said « the LORD » has been voicing support for LGBT rights for several years on social media. « One of God’s main reasons for speaking to humanity via social media is to clear up His Good Name, » said the anonymous group in an email Wednesday, adding that « the LORD likes to mock evil until it wets itself and runs away crying. »
God announced on Facebook this week that the first billboard has been purchased and will be go up in downtown Topeka on Sept. 8.
The cost of the 12-month campaign is about $50,000. If additional money is raised, God promises to erect more billboards in Topeka and in other cities across the country, on top of donating 10 percent of all funds to LGBT charities.
Contributors are offered a range of packages ranging from « The Disciple » to « The Divine » for donations, including bumper stickers, T-shirts, and posters autographed by the almighty himself.
God said this is the first of many political and social justice campaigns to come.
